Busy days require processing.
At a conference, it’s essential to build in time to do that processing, whether you’re attending, organizing, or presenting. We can’t just fill our brains all day, and if we choose to, those brains will lose a lot of what we took in, because we won’t have time to sort through it all.
That’s why I love a long lunch or dinner break for a conference, and why I never feel bad skipping an hour session to catch up with a friend. That time is often just as beneficial, both for the connection and for the processing time.
Give your brain a break and be amazed at the processing you can get done!
