A choir retreat isn’t about the singing.
Here are my priorities, in order of importance:
- Connection. We build our ensemble’s capacity through their relational capacity.
- Vision. This is the best chance to articulate your vision for the ensemble. Express your ensemble values, its history, and what the future holds.
- Music. The rest of the time you have, you give to the music.
Rehearsals are about the music. Retreats are about something more.
