Let’s talk about reinvention.
Reinvention is on the minds of many music educators in the summer months, when they have a little more time and mental space to step back and consider things.

- Ineffectiveness.
- Pedagogical growth.
- Student needs.
- Demographics.
- Staleness.
There are less good reasons.
- Boredom.
- External pressure.
And there are important strategies for getting there successfully.
- Sufficient time.
- Specific objectives.
- A pre-mortem.
Over the next few days, I’ll be considering each of these in some depth.
