Your day-in, day-out attitude. My friend Sean Berg, owner of Sechrist Travel, was recently asked how he booked a great performance venue (the Pantheon in Rome). He answered, “Be kind and respectful to people. They will remember you!!”
Of course, meeting the “right” people is worthwhile. But being the right kind of person is way more important. The right connections with the wrong attitude won’t take you very far, but with the right attitude, every connection you make will open doors.
