Work Ethic

No one needs to develop a good work ethic if they care deeply about the work they’re doing.

My son logged 59 hours on the clock designing lights for Mamma Mia! last week.

Last week.

He cares deeply about the work, he is interested and motivated, and the hours just pour out of him.

When we are calling out “work ethic” in others, we’re calling out the wrong thing. What we should be noticing is that those people are not invested in the work they’re being asked to do.

Can you figure out how to inspire their interest, their investment, their passion? Their work ethic will appear in a hurry.
