Just three steps inform all my interpersonal decisions.
- Slow Down. If you’re going too fast, you might miss what’s going on.
- Listen. If you don’t really hear the other people, how can you hope to make a good decision.
- Choose Love. In every action, let love inform your choices. Whether it’s romantic, fraternal, parental, or pedagogical love, you should treat people with love and care.
That’s it.
Slow down, listen, choose love. Do those three things, every time.
Parenting? Yep.
Teaching? Certainly.
Leading? Definitely.
