I am here to serve.
I am not here to persuade, teach, or lead. I spend my days persuading, teaching, and leading, but I do it to serve.
Our world is full of people who are certain they’re here to persuading. Others to teach, and others to lead. These are all noble callings that can be done well. But I personally believe that the best persuaders, teachers, and leaders are the ones who use these skills to serve.
The clarifying question is:
How can I be of service today?
Serve first. Great persuasion, teaching, and leading will follow.
