Fearlessness

Where does fearlessness come from?

Being fearless can be a profound tool. Success often comes to those who approach their goals fearlessly.

But there are two kinds of fearlessness. Some are fearless because they feel they have nothing to lose. Others are fearless because they have a place to land if they fail.

Part of being an educator is instilling an innate self-worth: everyone has something to lose. Another part is to make sure every student knows they’ll be safe if they fail.

Do it right and students will launch themselves in the direction of the dreams, fearlessly pursuing them.
