What are your my must-haves on concert day?
Time was, a concert occupied my mind for my entire day – habits on habits, every minute in service of the concert that would end the day. My classes were just distractions from my concert.
Life doesn’t allow that kind of full-day focus. So my must-have list is concise.
- A packed concert garment bag. Attire, toiletries, and iburprofen.
- Hydration.
- Seeing my ensemble before they walk onstage.
That’s it. Everything beyond that is bonus.
