I have been consistently inspired the past few weeks by the collaborative, supportive, freely sharing spirit of educators.
So many teachers are spending every available moment creating new content, researching new techniques, learning new modalities – and they are freely sharing whatever they discover with colleagues.
A pandemic makes us all equal, and all in need of support. The bulk of that help is coming from others in the same position. I’ve seen teachers sharing the best settings for a Zoom class, a cute Bitmoji classroom background, new ways of learning music, time to figure out a new video call software, or just offering a supportive message or call.
We are all equal, and we are all lifting each other up. Together, collaboratively, we are going to move through this difficult time.
