Use Your Power, Claim Your Progress

Two ways people in power fail:

  1. Failing to use their power to make things better. This can be because they don’t see a problem, because they’re busy and distracted, because they aren’t hearing demand for change, or any number of other reasons.
  2. Claiming their progress. If you make progress, but don’t let your community know about it, it’s as if the progress hasn’t been made, as far as the wider world is concerned. People can’t pick up your baton and carry it if they don’t know what you’ve done.

What power do you have that you’re not using to make the world better? What have you achieved with your power that you haven’t communicated to the world, so others can build on it?
