I often like to take a hard break at the end of the year. Turn off my work brain entirely, even if it’s only for a week or two, before I start prepping in earnest for next year.
The problem is, I’ve got several big projects I want to get to work on this summer, and I know I’ll regret it if I turn of entirely. I’d rather keep my work at a manageable simmer than switch it off.
So I’m putting up a big sign where I’ll see it, saying START SOONER.
Start those projects a little sooner, and hopefully you get more done and don’t start next school year at a sprint.
That’s the idea, anyway.
