Provided you’re not hiding, not ignoring the problem, and not being blocked from finishing by forces beyond your control, projects take the time they take.
I started a family musical project in May, and finished 90% of it today. It’s not because I procrastinated or because I didn’t think it was a good idea or because I lacked some tool or skill. It’s because this is how long it took.
Of course, many projects have deadlines; these also take the time they take, just on the timeline provided.
It’s taken me a long time to trust the projects to guide me into understanding the time they need. Some only need a few weeks. Others require years. Recognizing that and not leaning away from that truth helps.
