Music is amazing:
It rewards a lifetime of deep study, but the youngest baby responds to a lullaby.
It means wildly different things to different people, but they all know what we mean when we talk about music.
It roots you in your culture and your time, but it can transcend time and space to reach people centuries later in other parts of the world.
It can literally sync up the heartbeats of those making it together.
Music is amazing.
And to quote my friend Jeremy Fox from last weekend:
“Music is amazing; people are even more amazing.”
