If it’s written, especially on paper, it’s real. I was reminded that tonight when my kids were doing their night-time checklist. The sign reads “lunch boxes on counter” – and no matter how many times I remind them, “Dining table, not counter,” they end up on the kitchen counter. When I reprint it, the problem will disappear.
The same is true for things like audition results, plans, announcements, calendars. We can certainly take advantage of digital media, Instagram posts, Facebook events, etc. But it’s different when it’s in print. It’s too bad, because I’d rather use digital than paper. But it’s just not the same.
If it’s written, it’s real.
