Why have efficient rehearsals?
We are all too busy. If I am going to use your time – in a meeting, in a class, in a rehearsal – I want to be efficient with it. Because that’s the best way I know to show respect for your time.
I respect your time, so I push you to work hard in rehearsal.
I respect your time, so I cut to the chase in meetings.
I respect your time, so I use every minute I need in class, no fewer and no more.
As a busy person, nothing makes me less likely to continue to participate in something than to feel like my time isn’t valued.
