We had beautiful camping weather this weekend…
And it was a great campout. But I’ve had great campouts in the rain, in the snow, with mosquitos biting and with moose charging.
The thing about the weather is that you can weather it – if your mindset is able to accept and pivot. And if you remember that the humans you’re with are better than any barometric reading. Good times are always available if you’re with good humans.
The same is true of every rehearsal, every performance, every good or bad day teaching. You can find success if you stop expecting the universe to provide favorable conditions for your desired outcome, and instead accept whatever comes and focus on the humans.
