How do you get creative projects done? Deadlines.
For me, at least, it takes some kind of deadline.
- Hard Deadline. I carve out hours, lose sleep, whatever it takes to get it done.
- Soft Deadline. I find the time among my creative hours, but it might take longer than anticipated. I’m not losing sleep over it, at least not before the soft deadline has passed.
- No Deadline. I don’t complete projects with no deadline.
Deadlines are essential, and the firmer they are, the stronger the likelihood of projects getting finished.
