Overheard on my snowy campout this weekend: some universal advice.
“The best way to get warm is to get moving.”
It’s 100% true on a cold campout; as much as you don’t want to, it’s essential to get out of your warm sleeping bag and move around. Get moving to get warm.
It’s also true in life.
It doesn’t really matter how you move, what matters is the moving.
Effective practice: get moving. Mental preparation for the concert: get moving. Doing the dishes, reading more, baking bread: get moving.
I find that when you get moving, the best next steps fall into place, and you feel better while you’re doing it.
