Welcome to the first jedscott.com Flash Mob Friday. Gigging musicians and artists have been and will continue to be disproportionately hit by the COVID-19 closings, so each Friday I’m going to point you towards a musician, artist, or organization I think is worth your support. It’s my hope that together we can support artists at a time of great need.
Our first Flash Mob Friday organization is the BroadwayCares 2020 COVID-19 Emergency Action Fund.
If you choose to participate in this Friday Flash Mob, the only rule is that your maximum gift is $10. Let’s work together to support, but not expect so much of ourselves or any one of us that we can’t all participate.
BroadwayCares is a wonderful charity dedicated to the Broadway Community, and this particular fund is dedicated to supporting the entertainment community deal with the unprecedented loss of performing opportunities. Supporting this organization will help.
