I’m increasingly out of the business of gamifying my teaching.
I have explored lots of ways of gamifying learning and practice. But in a world where every. single. part. of. life. seems to be gamified, I’m of the opinion that my students don’t need more of this.
They need their learning to be real-ified. They need practice with long-form learning, grappling with choices, and asking questions.
They need less gaminess and more real-iness.
