In each of us there are areas we’re ready to take risks in, and areas we want to stay safe. I think the best collaborators (personally, professionally, creatively) are the ones whose risk-areas overlap. We can have different strengths and weaknesses, different interests and obsessions, but if I want to stay safe where you want to take a risk, we’ll constantly be at odds.
My forever collaborator and I started our journey on a European tour – a perfect place to see where the risks were.
