Busyness is not a status symbol, but it might be a sign you’re doing important things.
I’m not proud that I’m very busy, and I genuinely try not to complain about the pace of my schedule. I work very hard not to use it as a status symbol.
However, I am proud of the things I spend time on – my various work positions, my creative work, my volunteer positions, and most of all my family. I gladly use every minute available on the things I’m passionate about.
I think there’s a difference, I hope there is.
Don’t be proud or ashamed that you’re busy. Focus on the work.
