Do you have a brick wall you’re running towards?
This time of year, I like to imagine a brick wall that is a couple weeks down the road. I’m running, as fast as I can, to take care of everything I need to take care of. And when the time comes, I’m going to hit that brick wall at full speed.
And sleep for a few days.
As I run, I remember that every step gets me closer to that brick wall. That’s what keeps my energy high.
(I’ve got a second brick wall in December that I run towards for the last six weeks of the calendar year…)
