Breaks Mean Planning Ahead

Vacations take vigilance. I’m writing this on May 28, patiently waiting for Final Cut X to render a video for the Aces Concert on May 30. That, of course, is long in the past.

To really take a break from your chosen work is harder and harder. Double it if it’s work you love to do – when your vocation is your avocation, or when you have what I once called a “jobby.”

So I’m doubling up on writing, planning ahead, so that I can turn my attention to other things for awhile and not worry about finding time for this website every day. If all has gone according to plan, I have continued to publish daily throughout the month of July, all written in advance.

Breaks mean planning ahead.
