The fear that something might break is major stifling force in creativity. Especially in new creators, and young people, the safety rules, the strongly imposed caution, the threats of expensive repairs – these are enough to dissuade many from continuing to create.
What a blessing to have tools that work smoothly, that can’t be easily broken. We can turn kids loose with creative tools that will not fail them. They can create without fear.
