When you really don’t feel like it, do your daily practice anyway.
Usually when you get the urge to quit, it’s because there are troubles happening in other part of your life. Perhaps a longtime friend is sick. Maybe your car broke down. You didn’t get to say goodbye to friends from far away.
It’s incredibly tempting in the light of that to neglect your daily practice, and say, “So much is going wrong, I can’t do it.”
Do it.
Don’t break the strand, don’t break the streak. Don’t allow the troubles to snowball.
Do the practice. Today.
