More change. More connection. More influence. More success.
Too much of our education teaches our students to want less: their desires become passing the class, surviving finals, making it to Spring Break. Maintaining a Snapchat streak.
In music classes, we have the opportunity to teach higher aim. Aiming for musical sensitivity, human connection, impossible perfection; focus on the right things and we can teach our students to aim higher in their everyday.
And at the same time, we are teaching the practice skills and work ethic that will empower our students to achieve what they want.
