I have two hopes for ways my students are changed in the wake of a concert tour.
First, by singing together – that they recognize the power of music to connect, and that they resolve to keep making music.
Second, by seeing the world – that they see the deep value in visiting new places and discovering more about the world.
These two ideals, in the end, account for my commitment to planning major travel opportunities for my students.
