In a recent interview, Seth Godin answered the question, “How do you get so much done?”, in this way:
I don’t watch TV, I don’t go to meetings, and I do things that I’m afraid of.
That’s all. I have never met someonewho does those three things who can’t get a lot done.
More and more I’m trying to structure my time to support my creative acts, and those three things are three great ways to hide from being creative.
I admit not doing any of those three perfectly, I think that awareness of those things is a big part of success.
PS: Social media is a bigger culprit than TV for me and probably you. That’s why I’m trying to limit consumption of Facebook, Twitter, and continuing my Sunday Screen Sabbath.
