When I’m here, I create.
It can be a coffee shop, a music studio, or a practice room. It can even be a particular word processor. The specifics don’t matter.
What does matter is training yourself to imbue a space with the specific quality of being the place where you create.
It starts with the right intention, but in the end you find your creativity is bolstered by the space. If you create in this space, then eventually your brain will say, when you enter the space, “When I’m here, I create.”
Have you found that space? It doesn’t need to be perfect. The right space doesn’t need to have perfect light, perfect desks, or perfect tools. It just needs to be consistent.
