Time to level up.
Getting past the audition isn’t the end goal. It’s the beginning. From there, you’re likely going to be around more experienced and skilled musicians than you previously were. Compared to the last experience, they’re going to move faster, make fewer mistakes, and have skills you didn’t even know existed.
They’ll also be human, just like you. They got there by hard work, and your audition earned you the spot to join them.
Early on, especially, you can feel as if you don’t belong. Don’t listen to that feeling. Just do your best, ask questions, practice and prepare between rehearsals, and trust that by doing this, you’re taking the best possible action to enhance your own growth.
