Some people take the microphone because they have something to sell; some take it because they have something to give.
Some people take the microphone because they love the sound of their voice. Some take it because they have something worth hearing.
It’s easy to look at someone who always takes the mic and think they have a huge ego. But it’s just as likely that they are someone trying desperately to get a message into the world.
Introverts talk, too – when it’s something that needs to be said.
If you have something worth saying, step up and say it. Don’t worry that someone might think you self-important; worry that if you don’t say it, it won’t get said.
