Spring Break Watch #7 – Frank

Spring Break is a great time to catch up.

One thing you could do is remember that the internet is a repository of all sorts of “long-form” video as well…and maybe you have time to watch some of it now! Over this Spring Break, I’ll be recommending some amazing concert videos that are well-worth your time.

Today, a look back at Frank Sinatra.

There are lots of great concerts on YouTube to consider from the Chairman of the Board. I chose this 1962 hit in Japan because even though the footage is a little grainier than later performances, this is absolute peak ring-a-ding-ding Sinatra era. And to watch a live performance is a little different than to listen to his many wonderful live albums. You get a better sense of how he interacted with his audiences, how he paces his concerts and moves onstage. Enjoy!
