In my rehearsal today, as we warmed up, I looked around the room and saw two things: contorted posture and stress about the end of the school year.
Thus began my Overrated/Underrated For Teenagers list:
Overrated: Knowing what you want to do with your life.
Underrated: Attention to posture.
Attention to posture at age 15 will lead to massive benefits throughout your life.
Knowing what you want to do at age 15 is of little help (it causes you to leave doors closed that you should open) and it’s probably wrong anyway – almost no one is doing what they thought they’d do when they were 15.
What would you put on an Overrated/Underrated For Teenagers List?
