Today I announced three stretch goals that will add to the impact and value of my book project for all participants.
With Stretch Goal #1 at $2,000, I will create audio examples to use alongside the book. These will be posted to a dedicated page on the website, password protected with the password included in the book itself. As of this evening, we’ve already reached that goal!
With Stretch Goal #2 at $2,500, I will create a Jazz Theory for Choral Musicians PDF workbook. It will be provided to all Kickstarter supporters and then made available for sale online. It will include worksheets and practical exercises to practice the skills and knowledge in the book.
With Stretch Goal #3 at $3,000, I will write a bonus chapter of the book that will include an in-depth complete analysis of my arrangement of What’ll I Do? (Available at Anchor Music.) This will be a real-world application of many of the skills developed in the book, applied to an arrangement that is particularly well-suited to programming with non-jazz choral ensembles.
