I got to end my year with Shades of Blue this year with a real-live in-person concert. However, it was outdoors, socially distanced, with limited attendance permitted. Because of that, we didn’t publicize it much.
Fortunately, with the support of the Media Services Department at GRCC, we filmed the entire concert!
Tonight at 7pm, you’ll get to hear Shades of Blue LIVE, filmed on May 7, as well as five virtual choir performances from the last year. (Including one premiering at the concert! You won’t want to miss their performance of Ain’t Nobody Here But Us Chickens a la NYV.) In addition to the virtual choirs, there are three live group performances 6 live Shades soloists, 1 virtual Shades soloist, and a duet featuring me and Mandy Singing “How About You?” – lots and lots of great music!
