It all came from somewhere.
How many conference sessions have you attended where a presenter has said, “I stole this warmup from [Someone].” I have certainly heard it dozens of times.
Of course you did. Of course I did. It all came from somewhere.
We aren’t called upon to reinvent our profession…just to practice it with as much skill and diligence as we can muster. And that must include borrowing – stealing – from the ones who came before.
I am so appreciative of those teachers who share the things they’ve “stolen” from others – spreading hard-won knowledge wider into the profession.
