Initiative and Collaboration

The best outcomes often come when you balance personal initiative and collaboration.

Many minds come up with better ideas than any individuals, that is clear.

But many minds staring at a big problem might not find a good way in. At the very least, they won’t find it quickly.

So it takes personal initiative from a member of the group to begin tackling the challenge on their own so that the group has a solid place to start when they collaborate.

You can solve a problem on your own. You can solve a problem in a group. But the best and fastest solutions use a bit of both.
