If you’re like me, you’re thinking a lot about what our gatherings will look like in the fall? Will it be “normal”? What will be different? And will the changes in your gatherings be because external forces cause changes (as they did in 2020 and 2021) or because the grand pause of the pandemic has enabled you to reimagine your gatherings.
In preparation for this, I’m spending some time in July rereading one of my favorite books, The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker.
I’ll be writing some reflections in early August based on my re-reading. I would love to have you join me in thinking about the book and specifically about choral gatherings after the Long Quiet. Here’s a rough weekly reading schedule, so we’ll all be ready to chat on August 1!
June 28 – Introduction & Chapters 1 & 2
July 5 – Chapters 3 & 4
July 12 – Chapters 5 & 6
July 17 – Chapters 7 & 8
(Plus a week off for a July Vacation – your choice when!)
