Your creative work doesn’t mean anything until you finish.
Maybe this is one of the reasons people are drawn to AI generated “art.” Generative AI never gets frustrated halfway through creating something and sets it aside indefinitely. Creative people do that all the time. But creative professionals finish projects.
My wish for creative students is to finish, to finish, to finish. Each creative work gives us confidence for the next one, Each creative work gives us less pressure to make this work our magnum opus.
