Feet On The Ground

The best way to get out of bed is to put your feet on the ground. Sometimes as you’re waking up, you might think of all the things you’ll have to do, once you get up, and freeze.

Stop. Don’t think of everything. Just put your feet on the ground. Making your goal concrete, small, and attainable is the perfect way to start positive momentum: do something so small, and it’s easy to do the next thing. Do that, and suddenly, you’re off to the races.

Concrete, small, attainable goals are the best way together almost anything done, from getting out of bed to running a marathon to writing a new piece of music.

Just put your feet on the ground.
