What’s the Story? This is the first a cappella vocal jazz ballad I ever wrote. It’s got a Puerlingesque flair and is maximalist in its divisi, but all quite approachable. I made a recording of it with friends during my undergrad years, and actually put it on a CD we made as Wedding Favors when we got married. (Mandy and I sang the solos!)
