What’s the Story? I wrote this arrangement after hearing the amazing rap chorus from David Sikabwe over the “Fly Me To The Moon” changes. He captured the space-crazed, fun, flirtatious vibe in the original tune and added a unique and exciting twist. I knew immediately it needed to be a vocal jazz arrangement, and he kindly gave me permission to use it. It was premiered by GRCC Shades of Blue and has been performed by the Michigan All-State Jazz Choir and has been a favorite by the performers.
