Near the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5), a massive battle unfolds at the Ministry of Magic. It culminates with Professor Dumbledore facing off with arch-villain Voldemort.
Dumbledore finishes this epic battle with Voldemort at the end of the chapter and doesn’t waste a second. He calmly faces down the Minister of Magic, who has removed him from his headmaster position at Hogwarts. In effect he says, “Facing down Voldemort was OK, but I have more important things to do. Let me get back to teaching.”
For this wise, powerful man, nothing is more important than teaching.
Let that sink in.
