Isn’t it funny that December days are the longest even as the daylight is the shortest?
What I wouldn’t give to be in the southern hemisphere, where the draw of choirs in December met the longest days of the year. Wouldn’t it be nice to have sixteen hours of sunlight to go with the sixteen hour choir director days?
But never fear – even as the longest night of the Solstice approaches, so does respite from the demands of December.
