Do un-begun projects carry extra weight in your mind?
I find that procrastination tends to exaggerate how long something is going to take – and when I finally start, it almost always takes less time than I think.
A colleague recently admitted that their voicemail had unheard messages from as far back as March. How long did it take to listen, process, and respond to 16 messages? 7 minutes. In their head, it was going to take much, much longer.
What project have you been ignoring for too long? How much less time will it take than you think?
