Get Good At Hard Jobs

High school students: you aren’t going to like the easy jobs in life.
Easy jobs are dull. Easy jobs don’t let you be creative. Easy jobs don’t provide advancement.
Get good at hard jobs now. Get good at doing more than what is asked. Get good at spinning many plates.
Get good at leaning forward when everyone else is leaning back.
It might not feel like it, but the stakes are lower in high school. Now is the time to fail by tackling things you aren’t already good at. Learn what it feels like, when the consequences of failure aren’t long-reaching.
