What Am I Going To Do Today?

How am I going to wake up my students? How do I shake them loose from their long weekend, their ACT worries, their algebra homework, their family drama, their dating life – and get them to start making music together?

Sometimes the hardest part is dropping the baggage at the door and going.

Why not dance? A three-minute dance party this morning might be just what you need to bring everyone together. And what better choice than the newly-crowned 2015 Record of the Year.

Crank the volume, dance along, and have fun! (Then make a quick turn to Mozart, Morley or whatever else you need to do today… no problem.)

P.S. This would work in your math/physics/history/English/Spanish classroom, too. Why not try it?
